Theatre & Dance Department of The College of Communication and Fine ArtsThe Theatre and Dance Department offers undergraduate (B.F.A.) and graduate (M.F.A.) degrees. Concentrations include dance, design / technical production, and performance for undergraduates and directing and design at the graduate level. Faculty members have specializations in physical theatre, dance, playwriting, directing, narrative theatre, costume and scenic design, and lighting and sound design. Mentoring is the essence of the U of M theatre and dance program. The Theatre and Dance Department presents a full season of plays, musicals, and dance concerts while enriching campus life and the Memphis arts community. |
