Community Partnerships of The College of Communication and Fine Arts
The College of Communication and Fine Arts is an integral part of the community of Memphis and the Mid-South. Partnerships with local schools, theatres, dance companies, and arts organizations enrich the community and provide valuable real-life internship opportunities for students. The Art Museum and The Institute for Egyptian Art and Archaeology welcome hundreds of visitors each year and have active programs in education and outreach. The College has a formal partnering relationship with two Memphis schools that emphasize the arts; Colonial Middle School and Overton High School. The faculty and the College partner with several local, state, and national organizations such as the Memphis Arts Council, Tennessee Arts Commission, Scripps-Howard Publishing, and The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. |Overton High School |Colonial Middle School |Teen Appeal |Community Music School |Suzuki Music Program |Memphis Chapter of NARAS
