From the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies of The College of Communication and Fine Arts

Moira Logan photoThe College offers numerous opportunities for graduate study in communication and the fine and performing arts. Doctoral programs are also available in the Department of Communication (Ph.D.) and Music (D.M.A., Ph.D.)

Nationally recognized scholars and practicing artists on the College's graduate faculty teach advanced course work and guide the research efforts of graduate students. The excellent facilities, current technology, and stimulating academic and artistic environment support the in-depth study and creativity that characterize graduate education in The College of Communication and Fine Arts.

Graduate assistantships are available in each department and are awarded for teaching, research, and service. A limited number of fellowships for minority applicants are also available. Graduate assistants receive a monthly stipend as well as remission of tuition and fees.
